About Us
Boehlke Hardware was started in 1927 when Erich Boehlke opened a hardware business to service the local farming community Erich occasionally worked with his brother, Fred, who was a plumbing and a well driller. After Fred’s death, in a tragic work related accident, Erich took over the plumbing business and added it to the hardware business.
Many things have changed in the area since then and so has Boehlke Hardware. The third and fourth generations of the Boehlke family are still dedicated to the same professional service and quality products, but focus on the current needs of the community. With our plumbing background, we can offer products and advice on Kohler and Moen plumbing fixtures, AO Smith water heater, InSinkErator kitchen disposals and Jim Murray sump pumps.
Today Boehlke Hardware services the surrounding communities and provides plumbing for residential and some commercial. Our motto is to do the work as it is for our own home. Our experienced staff can service, repair, or replace your plumbing system. We take care of most plumbing emergencies the same day. We also service and replace well pumps, sump pumps, water heaters, faucets and fixtures.
